Jungceylon Shopping Mall Phuket is the largest shopping centre in Patong, if not the largest Phuket shopping mall. It is conveniently located near Bangla Road, and it is a huge shopping complex, the most well known and biggest stores inside Jungceylon are Robinson department store and Big-C Supermarket. Then there is over 300 smaller stores covering an area of 200,000 square metres, and a parking are for more than 2,000 cars. Jungceylon is divided into 4 zones, Silang Boulevard, The Port, Sino Phuket and Phuket Square.

Restaurants and food

Jungceylon is a wonderful destination for both shopping and dining enthusiasts. Around the areas known as the Port Square, Silang Boulevard and Sino Phuket Zone you’ll find rows of restaurants, bars and coffee shops serving Thai, European, Korean, Japanese and Chinese cuisine. Like a large courtyard, the Sino Phuket Zone is an ‘open-air’ set up (it’s actually covered but the roof is so high up, you won’t notice it.)

Most venues along this strip provide not only indoors but also ‘outdoors’ seating, making it the perfect place to experience good food or to just hang out and people watch all year round, come rain or shine.

The show runs without intermission and is divided into three acts that are equally entertaining. International audiences might want to pay close attention to Act II which presents how Thais conceive the concept of heaven and hell. While heaven is so beautiful with divas and angels (literally) flying around, hell is quite scary indeed. Imagine drinkers forced to imbibe from a cauldron of boiling water and adulterers compelled to climb horribly spiky thorn trees!

Thailand has a tropical climate with a distinct monsoon season, which means that whatever time of year you visit, it’s going to be warm and humid and might be wet. 

There are three seasons in Thailand --

 cool season between November and February, 

hot season between March and May 

and rainy (monsoon) season between June and October. 

Heat, humidity and rainfall vary significantly depending on where you’re traveling and what time of year you come.

When is the best time to visit Thailand?

Generally speaking,the best time to visit Thailand is from November to February when the northeast monsoon is blowing cool, dry air that serves as a respite from the heat. During this cool season, the temperature ranges from 18 to 32 degrees Celsius in Bangkok, while in northern and northeast Thailand, temperatures can get quite cool with morning temperatures as low as eight to 12 degrees Celsius with the occasional 20 degree day. Nights can be particularly chilly and at high altitudes .

The summer period, or hot and dry season, is from March to June. At this time temperatures in Bangkok average around 34 degrees, but can often reach 40 degrees with humidity levels of 75%.

Try and avoid April, unless you plan to be permanently submerged in the ocean, because this is the hottest month across the country.

From July to October is the monsoon, when most of Thailand's annual rainfall is accumulated and flooding can ravage the country. The humidity averages just under 90%, with temperatures averaging around 29 degrees Celsius in a very wet and rainy Bangkok.

But in my own experience I have visited Thailand mostly in July and august and enjoyed almost ever time a nice and hot weather, with some rainy days but always full of fun . So if you are planning to visit Bangkok don't hesitate because of the weather just pack your bag and go enjoy life in the land of smiles.

In Thailand, food forms a central part of any social occasions—and vice versa. That is, food often becomes the social occasion in itself, or reason to celebrate. This is partly due to the friendly, social nature of Thai people, but also because of the way in which food is ordered and eaten in Thailand.

Here are some dishes that I recommend you must try and enjoy while visiting Thailand.

1- Kai Pad Med Mamuang Himmapan (Stir-Fried Chicken with Cashew Nuts)

Even though Kai Pad Med Mamuang Himmapan does not represent the overview of Thai food but it is a very nice treat to your bland taste buds. Since it is by no means spicy or hot, this slightly sweet and salty chicken fried with crunchy cashew nuts is aptly satiating for children or beginners who are not used to spices.

2- Kang Keaw Wan Kai (Green Chicken Curry)

Since we are having three dishes in a row made of "Kai", you would have guessed that it is chicken in English. Not that chicken is particularly popular in Thai cuisine; it is usually used in most curry and soup. Kang Kiew Wan, literally translated as "Sweet Green Curry", is nicely sweet and slightly spicy and tastes very delightful with a proper blend of the spiciness from green curry chili paste, blandness from coconut milk, sweetness of sugar and saltiness of fish sauce. It is usually eaten with steamed rice or served as a sauce to rice noodle known as "Kanom Jeen" likewise to how you eat Spaghetti.

3 - pad  Thai (Fried Noodle)

This national dish prides itself for its long history traced back in previous centuries. Pad Thai flaunts the authenticity of Thai culinary arts in using only fresh and best ingredients and the well-balancing of the five fundamental flavors. The stir-fried noodle becomes popular because it tastes yummy and comes with a choice to add in a set of seasonings to suit your appetites. Through history, Pad Thai has evolved into two different styles: the classic and the variation. The classic Pad Thai is a stir-fried noodle with eggs, fish sauce, tamarind juice, red chili pepper plus bean sprouts, shrimp and tofu and garnished with crushed peanuts and coriander while another style is relatively dry and lightly-flavored. The latter is easily found in street vendors and dominant in Thai restaurants in the West but the having classic Pad Thai freshly cooked in its original country is a way to go.

Tom Kha Kai (Chicken in Coconut Milk Soup)

4- Although Tom Kha Kai is another variation of chicken soup, it deserves the No.4 because of its unparalleled taste and popularity. Similar to Tom Yam Kai, the broth is prepared with many types of Thai herbs with the special addition of coconut milk that makes this soup unique. Though the soup is seasoned with chili, lime and fish sauce just like Tom Kha Kai, thanks to the coconut milk, the broth is milder and less spicy. This is probably more liked by non-spicy eaters.

5 - Moo Sa-Te (Grilled Pork Sticks with Turmeric)

This tantalizing sweet-flavored grilled pork sticks are refined with rich, juicy sauce made of turmeric and curry powder. Moo Sa-Te makes a savory hors d'oeuvres that will appease any taste buds. These juicy grilled pork sticks are usually served with two saucy dips � one is a mildly spicy thick sauce with ground peanuts, coconut milk and curry powder and another one is a sweet and sour vinegar sauce with chopped shallot, pepper and cucumber to mitigate its oiliness.

6 - Som Tam (Spicy Papaya Salad)

Som Tam is one of the most popular foods among Thai people for its fiercely spicy and sour flavors. Som Tam, which literally means "Sour Pounded", is a spicy salad made from a mix of fresh vegetables including shredded unripened papaya, yardlong beans and tomato. Som Tam is unique that the spicy dressing and salad vegetables are pounded and mixed in the mortar using a pestle. Somtam is usually served with grilled chicken and sticky rice. Som Tam is good for your health that it contains no fat, low calorie and high vitamins. This is a truly authentic Thai dish that will make a great impression. The only reason why I�m ranking Som Tam at No.7 (though it deserves higher rank) is its strong spiciness that might leave your tongue burned and swollen. Just say "Mai phed" (not spicy) to your waiter if you really want to try.

7 - Por Pia Tord (Fried Spring Roll)

Fried spring roll is one of the most popular appetizers among foreigners because it is not spicy and comes with sweet and sour dip. Spring rolls are crispy pastries with fried vegetable fillings. Though spring rolls are commonplace in many Southeast Asian countries, Thai Por Pia is different in flavors with a special dip prepared from Japanese apricot.

In a way or another you must enjoy the traditional thai dishes when your in Thailand cause they will tell you a lot of spicy and sweety stories while your  buoying them.

Why do tourist visit Bangkok over and over again ?

First time when You visit Thailand and specially that oriental city Bangkok , the hectic scenes that greet you can be overwhelming at first, and many have been heard to announce they can't wait to get out of the city and will never come back. That sentiment, however, usually lasts only a few minutes before the next delight accosts you and you soon find yourself falling in love with the city and never wanting to leave.

Some, like me, come to Bangkok for a few weeks and return again and again as, every time, they find some new pastime or sight to enthrall and surprise them.

Yes, Bangkok sucks you in and doesn't let you go, like no other city in the world, which is just one of the reasons why it is a tourists favorite and likely to remain so for decades to come.

No other city offers the sights, sounds, smells and plain mouth-dropping wonders that Bangkok offers. And, in many cases, all at absolutely no cost.

To see more of why Bangkok has been one of the world's most visited cities for years now, with more than 16 million visitors arriving every year visit it .  Then tell me you don't want to experience all that at least once in your lifetime as, frankly, I won't believe you.

Interestingly, many of these tourists return to Bangkok again and again, seemingly enamored of everything this amazing city has to offer. But why?

Soi cowboy - the naughty soi of Bangkok

Soi Cowboy, Bangkok's red-light district for expats and tourists is located parallel to Sukhumvit Road between Asoke Road and Soi 23. It's very close to a public transport intersection combining BTS Sukhumvit line and MRT at Asok station and Terminal 21. Soi Cowboy hosts around 20 agogo bars with names such as The Dollhouse, Tilac, Soi Cowboy 2 and Baccara. Every tuk-tuk and taxi driver knows Soi Cowboy and getting there from any part of Bangkok is easy. Be aware of taxis standing in front of this area. They will try to overcharge. It's recommended to pick a taxi from flowing traffic. Bars open around 19.00h in the evening and close at 2.30 in the morning.

Ask any tuk tuk driver or taxi driver and they will take you there. It is within fairly short distance of all the major Sukhumvit Road hotels. Alternatively you can take the Sky Train (BTS) and get off at Asoke Station or the Bangkok Subway System (MRT) and get off at the Sukhumvit Station. Both are a few minutes walk to Soi Cowboy.

There are currently around 35 bars and gogo bars but this always changes with time and bars close and new bars open.

Be prepared to be tugged on by dozens of ladies as you enter the threshold of Soi Cowboy. This widely popular red light zone was just recently renovated and enjoying a surge in visitors as a result. 

Soi Cowboy is popular with the expat community in Bangkok and that's a good sign. Going where the experienced locals go is a good indication of where the good restaurants are and the same goes true for go go bars. The drinks in the go go bars at Soi Cowboy have gone up in price. But don't worry it's still not bad compared to western bar prices. The best thing of all is that most of the bars in Soi Cowboy do have Happy Hours or drink specials such as a 2 for 1 or cheap draft beers.

The most popular go go bars in my opinion are Shark Bar, Doll House, Baccara, Spice Girls and the futuristic looking Tilac Bar. These go go bars have the most ladies which increases the probability of meeting prettier girls. They have been around since Soi Cowboy first started but are constantly keeping themselves fresh and reinventing themselves ever so often to keep up with the times and competition.

Some of the go go bars in Soi Cowboy are unique such as Baccara where you can watch girls dance above, beneath a glass ceiling. Sometimes in bikinis and a couple of times in the nude, which is technically illegal, but so is prostitution. There are loads of girls who are dressed in school uniforms which I'm sure are fulfilling a lot of male fetishes.

Speaking about unique bars, there are two specialty bars to check out. I hope you're not shy though because in Afterskool customers can have a beer while a lady gives gives them oral sex. Believe me you're going to need the beer because almost anyone could watch as there really is no privacy. Just a part of the bar they call the naughty corner.

I guess if you will visit Bangkok and you must visit soi cowboy at least to have a drink and experience that adult Disney land of Far East .

Thai massage is both deeply relaxing and energizing.

Well this type of massage cost range from 250 bath to 700 bath, depending on the shop and the time one of the best shops I have visited is thai spa Bangkok sukhumvit soi 31

Soapy massage

Well this is kind of adult massage , mostly famous in Bangkok and Phuket , I will give you a general idea about this adult massage and the rest is upon you to explore it.

Every soapy massage shop has price a structuring scheme. Once you enter an establishment you'll either be seated and shown a menu or shown one next a counter. Either way a mamasan will assist you if you have any questions. And depending on the establishment you'll be offered a photo album to look through pictures of ladies employed on premise wearing skimpy outfits in slutty poses.

Some soapy massage shops have a fish bowl where the ladies sit with mini skirts or swim suites Meaning you can request to take a look at any available ladies. The mamasan will call up the massage girls and line them up all in front of you. I know for a lot of first timers, this may seem a bit uncomfortable having all those eyes on you but please relax.
